Experiential Therapy

Experiential therapy is a type of technique where we utilize tools or activities to re-enact and recreate situations from past and present relationships. With the use of music, props or art, a person can identify blocks to growth, emotions connected to situations, and move towards healthy change.

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (better known as “EMDR”) is a revolutionary mental health treatment developed by psychologist Dr Francine Shapiro in the 1990s. By stimulating the natural action of memory processing through eye movement, EMDR helps people to access and “re-process” their traumatic memories and deep core beliefs.

Brainspotting

Brainspotting is a form of psychotherapy that uses the field of vision to access traumatic memories. It is hypothesized that points in the visual field correspond to parts of the brain.

Breathwork is a term for various breathing practices in which the conscious control of breathing is said to influence a person’s mental, emotional or physical state, with a claimed therapeutic effect.

Intensives

The goal of an intensive is to fast track the counseling process. Intensives will be scheduled for 6 hours a day and the number of days will be determined by the issues at hand and the goals of the client.
